'No Date, No Signature' leads Iran box office 4 consecutive weeks

Iran film ‘No Date, No Signature’ has kept the leading position at the country’s ticket window for four consecutive weeks.

Directed by Vahid Jalilvand, the movie’s weekly gross has reached 5,064,150,000 Rials gaining bestselling title of the last week, local media reported.

The movie has gone on silver screen at 163 cinema theaters so far with the total gross of 39,311,260,000 Rials.

“Kaveh Nariman is a doctor who works at the Iranian Legal Medicine Organization. He has to examine the corpse of someone that he used to know in the past,” a short synopsis for the movie reads.

Hediyeh Tehrani, Amir Aqaei, Saeed Dakh, Alireza Ostadi and Navid Mohammadzadeh star in ‘No Date, No Signature’.

Other high grossing movies of the Iranian box office for this week (March 8-14, 2018) are respectively 'Wing Mirror' directed by Manouchehr Hadi (Weekly gross: 3,203,710,000 Rials, Total gross: 200,600,620,000 Rials), ‘We Are So Cool’ directed by Bahman Goudarzi (Weekly gross: 148,140,000 Rials, Total gross: 1,299,810,000 Rials), 'Israfil' directed by Ida Panahandeh (Weekly gross: 1,288,020,000 Rials, Total gross: 5,580,090,000 Rials), and 'Mothering' Directed by Roqiyeh Tavakkoli (Weekly gross: 991,080,000 Rials, Total gross: 2,045,590,000 Rials).
